Due to an internal move, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join our Team. In this role you own, drive and develop procurement operational excellence for the ANZ business and manage ongoing contractual relationships.
How you will contribute
- Lead and develop, through direct line management, three Procurement Specialists, responsible for day-to-day execution of Raw Materials and Packaging contracts with about 150 suppliers
- Identification and Realisation of Cost Optimization opportunities
- Support the on time, in budget delivery of New Product Developments (NPD) by providing procurement advice/subject matter expertise to project teams and co-ordinating with suppliers
- Build strong cross functional relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders in Supply Planning, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance and Project Management to enable delivery of excellent customer service, achievement of KPI targets and continuous performance improvement
- Support the regional Procurement team as the local ANZ point of contact, building relationships with suppliers and being the point of escalation to actively manage and respond to supply issues
- Develop local Business Continuity Planning strategies and implementation plans by identifying supply chain risks and appropriate management/mitigation actions.

- Experience in Supply Chain Operations, with minimum of 2+ years Procurement experience preferred
- Stakeholder Management - internal and external
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate and influence cross-functionally at all organisational levels

- Understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Leadership and a Team Player (resilience, patience, flexibility)

Education / Certifications:
University degree (Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting/Finance or technical degree is preferred) plus knowledge in Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain.
