Your Role: Strategic Account Manager – Dairy & Swine
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategically important customers across the Dairy and Swine industries in Australia. In this role, you will drive sales growth by understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and executing strategic account plans aligned with Elanco’s business objectives.
Your Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of named strategic accounts within the Dairy and Swine industries.Achieve assigned sales budgets and strategic account objectives in line with Elanco’s growth strategy.Lead the customer account planning cycle, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met across Elanco’s full product and service portfolio.Build long-term customer relationships to improve satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
Education: Tertiary qualification in science, agriculture, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food animal health industry or a closely related industry.Core Skills: Strong customer relationship management, sales capability, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Strong understanding of extensive rural sales models and distribution channels across Australia.Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic customer account plans.Ability to interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data effectively to customers.Proven time management and organisational skills to manage a diverse customer base.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Apple software, and Office 365.
Additional Information
Travel: Significant travel required across assigned territories (percentage to be confirmed).Reporting Line: Reports to the Business Unit Lead.Key Relationships: Territory Managers, Channel Manager, Marketing, Technical, and Customer Service teams.
