We are currently seeking a dedicated Dairy Cattle Farm Operator to become an integral part of our operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Dairy Cattle Farm Operator, your day-to-day tasks will include:

1. Operating and maintaining milking equipment and dairy farm machinery.
2. Monitoring cattle health, welfare, and behavioral patterns to ensure effective animal husbandry.
3. Safely driving and operating agricultural equipment, performing routine inspections, and handling basic maintenance or troubleshooting.
4. Recording farm data such as milk production, herd numbers, and feed inventory.
5. Using computerized farm management systems and standard agricultural measurement tools.
6. Applying basic agricultural science principles to daily farm operations.
7. Assisting with artificial insemination and fertilizer application.
8. Working cohesively with farm staff to ensure seamless and efficient day-to-day operations.
9. Strictly adhering to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols and animal welfare standards at all times.

What we are looking for:

1. Relevant qualifications and/or practical, hands-on experience in dairy or livestock farming (highly regarded).
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
4. Good physical fitness to handle the demands of daily dairy farming.
